On-Line Order of Protection Form
The Kirkland Public Library is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the DeKalb County Circuit Clerk’s Office to offer access to on-line orders of protection.
Kirkland Public Library joins with Cortland, DeKalb, Genoa, Malta, Maple Park, Sandwich, Sycamore and Waterman as a designated official location for access to the circuit clerk’s on-line electronic petition for emergency orders of protection. All these public libraries will provide a computer with a link to the circuit clerk’s office website with access to the on-line order of protection. Our librarians will offer some assistance to those completing the form, but will direct any major questions to Circuit Clerk Maureen Josh’s Office.
Special Book Request/E-Read Program
Remember, we are part of RAILS (Reaching Across Illinois) and are able to get many books from other libraries that we do not have in our stacks. Also, remember to sign up for BOUNDLESS, our e-read program.
